You lie so much, a tangled web you weave
You believe yourself, but you’re unable to perceive
You sound so convincing, what are you hoping to achieve?
Telling your grand stories, the only purpose is to deceive
•
You include a shred of truth, as a decoy
Exaggerate the details, your little ploy
An entertainment value, to make sure they enjoy
When all is said and done, you just annoy
•
Sometimes the truth makes a better story
But then your fans would be less appreciatory?
You take it to new level, a special category
You have no love of the truth; it’s not even conciliatory
•
Do you remember which part is real, which is fake?
As you slither through the grass, you little snake
This is an evil practice, in which you partake
But you continue on unaware of this grievous mistake
•
As long as you’re telling fairytales
Let me give you a little extra wind for your sails
People see right through you, it never fails
You better keep your story straight, the truth unveils
