Facebook, What is it for me...
A chance to connect with
Friends and Family....
Family and friends
you may not have seen
In a while...
Or maybe just to bring someone
A smile....
Its finding out about people
Things you didn't know....
Like what's their favorite color
or about places they want to go...
Its about staying connected
And not losing touch...
Because today everything is so
very Rush, Rush....
So as we comment on status
And post our favorite Videos
or just act silly
As we create scenarios...
Let's have fun and remember those
we love...
And those we want to reach for God up above....
Let's nurture our friendships
And start new trends...
Let's be bold, and make a new friend...
But remember to keep it PG for everyone to see...
What you wouldn't show God
Then on Facebook it shouldn't be...
We can use it to witness and
to lend a helping hand...
To share a verse in the bible
To encourage a friend....
To wish Happy Birthday
or to share some new photos
To show to others things
they may have not known of...
Do it all in Good Fun
but careful you must be
Not to get addicted
to being on FB

BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! To you dear Veronica. What you say in this poem, is what you are: No fear, loving, and always ready with a helping hand.
Good for you, and Facebook, you are blessed to have Veronica in your midst! I love Facebook too, and recently heard from a dear one that I hadn't heard from since 1979.
I was surprized; and so happy I nearly cried.!
Love this Facebook........but so true, you can easily get hooked.........and then too bad for you!'

Your poem brought a huge smile to me! I adored the poem and enjoyed reading it but to be honest i've never been to facebook and have no idea what it really is. Now at least, I have somewhat more of an understanding.
It sounds like a wonderful place to share with friends and family.
