Please don’t walk away
The glacier looks so sweet
Don’t turn your back on the new day.

The sun is shining so high in the sky
You decided to stay awake
Please don’t walk away

The green grass is beckoning you
You said it must be fate
Don’t turn your back on the new day.

Look around and notice the light
The old man plays on and on
Please don’t walk away.

The flowers are in bloom
The children have escaped
Don’t turn your back on the new day.

I chance a glance in your direction
What a day, you are beautiful
Please don’t walk away
Don’t turn your back on the new day.
