Have You Ever Seen a Beauty Break?

Somewhere else
there's a girl slitting her wrists
beneath the bathwater
thinking that she'll never be anything more than blood and water.
Her hair is pinned up,
bobby pins and curls
almond eyes ripened with tears
she silences them, sobbing
her mouth curled into an "O"
Have you ever seen a beauty break?
Her skin is a peach
naked, breasts rounded, they heave forward when she cries.
There are glass shards scattered across the tiled floor
she smashed the mirror
Now she sees her reflection, ironically, as displaced as she feels.
They say eyes, are the window to one's soul
what happens, when those windows close?

Left me silent. I really like the 3rd to last line; beautifully written to give a real sense of her feelings.
Great write! :-)
