We meet again
A nod of the head in acknowledgement
My ears shattered, your words I could not grasp
"A sunbeam hit my eye; consciousness abloished"
Conversation subtle, for words we did not need
Your eyes a million shrieking winds by themselves
This is no disguise, despite what it seems
A smirk, a grin, never hid your sin
Not knowing, nor hiding your intentions
Guessing no more, you no as well as I
"Communication is rare for me; I'd rather you come find me"
Returned to your own life, and I to mine
I didn't get to see you turn your face away
Twilight fades near, the dawn I fear
You weren't even there
Farewell
(Was originally written the other way; but it sounded better this way.)

I found myself pondering on many meanings in this one. I shall read it once more.
You captured lovely emotion in this write.
I also enjoyed the fact it was left a bit elusive, leaving everyone to ponder on it some.
Good work and welcome to YPDC
Hugs
