Water Droplet on a Leaf

Safely nestled
like a crystal ball
on a green baize surface,
it gleams, invitingly.
Sunlight catches its surface
and it winks back at me
as if to say:
“Study me closer
for a little while
and you won't
be disappointed."

Beautiful imagery. I adore the "crystal ball" reference. It's so suiting.
You place your reader inside the poem with your words. And what a
stunning place to be with this one! *sigh*
I love writes about nature and water in particular. This was is short,
but captivating and even tempting. It leaves the reader wanting more.
Great post!

I reiterate Breezy's comment!
Your poem has captured the magic found in the simplicity of a water droplet. The imagery was perfect.
Remarkable!
