Before the final golden rays
Of the glowing orange sun
Cease to dance in lovely ways
Around clouds soft spun
Your silhouette enchants me
And makes my spirits rise,
I eagerly wait to see
The beauty of your eyes.
Anticipation grows
Until, at last the shadows fade
Unveiling beauty as a rose
No longer left in the shade.
Your silhouette gives me
A taste of things to come,
A picture of loveliness set free –
My heart you have truly won.

Oh my. Like the softness of a dew drop this wields emotion like a
sword, stabbing straight through the heart. And what glorious beauty
then spills out to cover the ground; soaking in enchantment.
Damn. This was such a beautiful and magnificently alluring write.
Powerful in its ability to make damsels swoon. Your imagery in
this one is outstanding !
