I Need Music

Contributed by juniorwise on Thursday, 21st May 2009 @ 04:16:57 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

So as I lay in my bed

I was nodding my head

Feeling the music that was

Running through my head

Recorded my own beat

Drop a verse every week

Ignoring the possibility

I will ever grow weak

A supernatural phenomena passion

Given to the this mortal soul

With no questions askin

For some strange reason, I seemed exclusive

Cause unlike everyone else, I loved music

Vacate myself to another land

Writing lyrics with this pen in my hand

Gone so far out, if you ever try to spot me

You cannot, I am the invisible man

There's my writing in the sky

And if you can't see it, dog check your eyes

If the sun's not in your way, you must be blind

-

"I'm an extremist. I'm pulled to one side of the

music spectrum, but I'm loving it. If not, stick with

your own style, music is music."

-

So keep me flowin, I'm pretty easy going

Like water out a beam, cruising along this stream

Called a newbie, no close to perfection

Off road lyrics, no path or direction

It's so crazy, it seems I have a little potential

To become something in the industry but I'm so lazy

So amazing, that I got up and did something

Instead of just waiting, to become amazing

To get the gear I need to use to speak

So my peeps can leak to what they need to hear

But if not, no worries, cause I made it for me

Check the title, music is all I need

Yes, music is all I need

If you ever try to go to sleep on me

Whatever man, music is all I need

Man, music is all I need

Need.... (echo)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
