Love is not our doing
Some transcendental fantasy or whim
Nor revel in some romantic's Scratchy scrawling pen.
Confuse it not with
Hormonal fever-rage
For love is not a facsimile; It shares not itself with lies.
Dare not I take in it's
beauteous wing with occulous glance.
May I not with invasion of touch spoil this thing of heavenly balm.
Yet as though unbending
I know it to be as unworn and new as the day it came to me.

Cyrano,
I must say, this is quite a strange coincidence..... I wrote a poem that is uncannily similar to this one... it's a bit more repetative, but it goes along the same lines. "Love's Definition (Screw Websters)". Great minds think alike =)
Lovely, once again, you did a great job of portraying exactly what you want without needless extra.... straight forward, not boring to read I'd say ; )
