Finally at long last, My train has ran back to the past,
Pulling into the stop, My body was ready to drop
I looked both ways and leaped from the back
strung to me was an awfully heavy backpack
I whisked through the crowd of empty eyes
The ground turned to fire, and the sky into lies
And i would run for days to come,
running from men who hold the gun
fleeing through these trees with no ease
I trip and fall and roll and bang my knee
I scream in pain because I can see blood
But i get up and pull myself out of the mud
As the forest begins to clear my fear
It opens up to something dear
I found a field from long ago, I know,
It comes from my last great day
Let's sit and marvel before they take me away
and throw me back on the train
"the past isn't for you," neglected memories its true
Grab me by the collar and throw me to the cab
shut the doors, the walls in here are empty and drab
I'll huddle up into a ball, and crouch against the wall
The train leaves the station without hesitation
I feel it pull away from my beautiful day
And i am stuck here in the black
on a train, looking out the back
not sure what I'm supposed to do
but as I was pulling away,
I noticed you.

This is a great concept to reflect on. This is certainly a very mature write. Thsnks so much.
