The sky is jeweled with diamonds of the night;
I am mesmerized by the gleaming wonders before me.
Nothing can compare to the night's glowing sight;
The mysterious aura of the night will never flee.
On many an eve, I have gazed into the sky and have been lost in it;
The feeling is so calm and peaceful--it take's one's breath away.
Each star has its own personality and tint;
If you look careful you can catch stars at play.
One day I hope to witness a shooting star before me;
I have waited patiently and will keeping waiting for one.
I will watch it carefully as it shoots from the sky's sea.
I will make a wish to benefit the moon, stars, and the sun.
Now I stare at the moon's radiant eye;
I can see the moon's face smile at the earth.
The smile reminds me that the night sky is full of life;
It was here long before any human's birth.
I could sit under the stars for the rest of life;
soon the night will fade into day once more.
At least it will live again and absorb my strife;
the night sky will life forevermore.
