For nineteen years I've been waiting
For you to find your way
For nineteen years I've been searching
At home and away
Maybe somewhere along the line
Our paths have crossed
Could have been just that second in time
When on our way we got lost
Maybe you turned up here
Just as I went looking
And maybe I turned up there
Just as you started walking
Maybe I've already found you
And you've found me
We just don't yet realize who
Each of us can see
So now I've decided that I'll stay put
In case you're on your way
I'll not go far, just to the pub
And here is where I'll stay.
I know one day we'll meet each other
Because it's written in our charts
And when we do there'll be no other
Who can try to take my heart
