Drowned in dirt

Drowning in my dust of thoughts
I inhale all the tears that I cannot cry
As I stare at the reflection of confusion
I wish someone would murder my mind
Steal my soul for it has no worth
It’s been fed with lies and drowned with dirt
It’s been held against and for it’s will
Fighting with feathers, pretending to fold.
I no longer have eyes – so how can you see?
How would you kick me if my hands were tied?
Talking in circles, thrown with words and hate
Confusion around me, happiness dies.
