Once a home full of happiness, now an estate of perpetual doom,
Smiles used to decorate your face; they have evolved into blank expressions.
Loving notes once were emitted from your mouth; now only snarls of gloom.
Conversations were intimate and deep; now so shallow and full of depression.
The dwelling was once full of life; now the air reeks of death.
I used to know you; now you are just a familiar stranger.
Time is passing us by, and soon it will be our last breath.
I feel living with a familiar stranger puts my happiness in danger.
