Cold

Contributed by Axios-Mortis on Tuesday, 19th May 2009 @ 05:12:43 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

cold. cold is malignant, cold can not feel
it broods, it is patient
it waits to enter your heart and soul
cold will outlast you, it is not human
when you break, cold is slow to kill, it enjoys your suffering
seeking tirelessly, seeping in deeper under your skin
its icy chill will break you down, numb your senses
you will not feel
agonizingly slow cold slithers through your shivering soul
frigid fingers wrapped around your writhing heart
colds icy dead hands capture everything
you will never break free
soul and heart frozen, mind apathetic
cold will make you wish for the death
that it is slowly delivering
you will be left a frozen wasted example
do not become cold..
