when i saw her the sun was shining
its beams shown dark and bleak against her radiance
my eyes had happen upon the finest lady men have seen
i was taken from the dark places i had been brooding
she was flawless her presence was surpassed by none
an angel descended among mortals, she was a painting
words are not worthy of her pure polished visage
no one can describe her
god had made some great folly in presenting her in my world
a madonna, matchless, and immaculate revealed before my irrelevance
i am but shadows and dust, and she a rich, radiant rose
