The Tables Turn

Contributed by Innocent_Sinner on Tuesday, 19th May 2009 @ 03:58:59 PM in AEST
Topic: obsession

Obsessed with you
I can't get you out of my mind
I close my eyes
And I see you, smell you

Your scent...

I walk behind you in the halls
People stare at me
My dark eyes scare them
My hunched form tells them...

I'm demented...

I stalk you down the halls in our school
Your friends surround you
Shielding me from your eyes
So you don't figure out that I'm

Stalking you...

You stop, turn around
See me for the first time
And I duck out of the way in a panic
I can't let you know that I'm

Obsessed...
With you...

I skip school just to hide out
I can't let you confront me
I know what you'll ask
I know what you think

You'll think that I'm a demented stalker
Obsessed with your very scent
I know everthing about you
But I have to best intentions...

For a stalker...

I come to school the next day
And I notice that you stare at me
I've finally caught your attention
And it's working out well for me...

The tables have turned...

You follow me in the halls
Your friends no longer surround
Now your hood is pulled over your head
And I just stroll along

Knowing of your new obsession...

It's truly funny how easily the tables turn.
