She gets into me
As days gone by
Silk flows behind marking her nest
I climb onward mesmerized
The tingling never seizes
And hopes torment my night
How sweet the taste of your wine
Overwhelms but never satisfies
Left stunned as she gets by
Barren lands I try to revive
Dreams fail to describe
My unforgiving desire
She gets into me
As days gone by
A childish yearning covers her smile
Doors, phones and places bid their time
Broken facts give her credit
Words shaped like paper hearts
Uprooted and caught by her drive
All logic erased and labeled as love
An emptied shell I have become
Betting for the most fortunate outcome
Trying my best to overcome
Your love
