Beginning after the End

Suicide

Sitting on the floor, I stare at the wall…
Counting each tear as they start to fall
Thoughts travel through my mind, without end
Thinking of how, your heart I’ll mend
Six! Surely, Love, you weren’t thinking
Swallowed them down, without even blinking
Your pain now surrounds me, overwhelms me
I no longer know what it means to be free
Trapped in circumstances beyond your control
Walking into the trap, falling into that dark hole
How could I not know what you were prepared to do!
How could you not realise that I truly love you?!
