Pieces of a puzzle-
Jigsawed into millions.
People wandering through the world.
Going about their lives,
Day to day.
Sometimes they find each other.
They try to make their pieces fit.
Sometimes they do,
But the pictures don't match.
Often the pieces won't work-
And they move on when they're tired of trying to fit.
But sometimes the pieces interlock.
Perfectly they intertwine,
Painting a picture of paradise.
An oasis in a desert.
A sunset behind the mountains.
When they interlock-
It's heaven on earth.
Just like you and I.

I'm glad you found your soul mate! I'm still looking for mine, but since I'm still young I figure I have a year or two to find someone that can love me that much. This is a very poignant write. I loved it! Keep up the great write!
