BE THANKFUL

Be thankful unto the Father,
Be thankful unto the Son,
Be thankful unto the Holy Ghost,
All three are one-

They will fill you with Their power, strength, and glory,
Giving you the fortitude to conquer and overcome,
Every enemy and foe,

Bow down upon your knees,
Lying prostrate upon the floor,
In Their presence therefore-

Be thankful with a grateful heart,
Thanking and praising God,
For His goodness and mercies sake,
Knowing in your heart,
That He will never leave or forsake-

Be thankful,
Filling your soul with joy and thanksgiving,
Blessing the name of the Lord,
Abounding in His grace,
Walking faithfully in His every accord-

Be thankful,
Abiding in the joy of the Holy Ghost,
Walking in the joy of His joy, power, and might,
Rejoicing and delighting yourself daily,
In His joy, peace, and delight-

Be thankful unto the Father,
Be thankful unto the Son,
Be thankful unto the Holy Ghost,
All three are one-

They have heard your voice in the midnight hour,
And have come to your rescue,
With Their love, peace, and power,

Filling your emptiness with the fullness of Their joy,
Granting you the grace to be Theirs,
No longer evil’s wicked and evil toy-
