PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.
I STILL LOVE YOU DARLING,
AND I’M DOWN ON MY KNEES.
SURE, OF COURSE I’M PLEADING,
AND EVEN BEGGING TOO,
FOR YOU TO CALL ME HONEY,
AS I KNOW YOU LOVE ME TOO!
COME UNTO ME BABY,
INTO MY OPEN ARMS.
LET’S FORGET WHAT LIES BEHIND
AND ENJOY EACH OTHERS CHARMS.
NEVER WILL I HURT YOU,
AS I HAVE DONE IN THE PAST.
FOR I HAVE MISSED YOU TOO MUCH.
AND MAY WE WORK TO MAKE LOVE LAST!
SO CALL ME BABY, CALL ME!
LET ME HEAR YOUR VOICE TODAY.
THE WORDS FROM YOUR LIPS SOOTHE ME,
AND GIVE ME PEACE EACH DAY.
BUT WHEN NOT HEARD I WORRY.
I STUMBLE AND I CRY.
AT OTHER TIMES THEY’RE VISIBLE,
THESE HUGE TEARS IN MY EYES.
MAY THE LORD TEACH ME TO LISTEN,
AND TO REALLY UNDERSTAND.
TO KEEP MY OWN LIPS QUIET
WHEN YOU TELL ME WHERE YOU STAND.
SO I MIGHT KNOW YOU DEEPLY,
AND MERGE MY HEART WITH YOURS.
AND HEAR WHAT YOU ARE SAYING,
TO SEE THE LOVE WITHIN YOUR WORDS!
