LostLove

The story unfolds.
Messages run cold.
What used to be abundant and plump
has just been thrown into the dump
What happened to the bond we shared in between?
The life, the sorrow, the joys unsees.
Has it all just withered and dried away?
Or just barely living with no reason to stay.
I wish i could say i didn't mean for this at all,
but the way things were going i was stuck behind a wall.
Had to take action or take the fall.
Though none of that matters now.
For what lies ahead surely no one can tell,
but no matter how hard i try i can't igonore this hell.
In a way it's good that you haven't felt the same pain,
cuz to you it's all been just a game.
Wish i could see life in the same eyes as you.
In fact, everyone should know the world like you do.
The facts, the life, the carefree bud of youth.
But you've got to understand, one way or the other,
that you must learn to trust one another.
Your biggest fault i think that's become,
but i'm not asking you to succumb.
The wolrd isn't honey. Not a sweet treat at all.
And when you treat things like so, you make me fall.
To the painful pit of unrequited love,
as you pass with indifference with your head up above.
Did it all mean nothing?
Was it all just a game?
I wish it wasn't, but to you it's all just the same.
