i listen to your words,
so painful and mean..
and silently i scream.
if only you knew
how much i really loved you.
i trusted you with all my heart,
let you in right from the start,
went against my instincts to let you love me
if i only knew your love wouldnt set me free.
i hope shes everything you wanted me to be,
know i hate myself for everything i did with you.
know you're constantly breaking my heart with everything you do.
i wish you the very best,
even though my turning mind will never rest
i dont know why i still love you
dont know why i still care,
dont know why i spend my days wishing you were here.
but i miss you more with every second that passes by,
and think about you every night as i cry.
