She was sweet and she was kind,
she was everything he needed.
She was loving with blind eyes,
she stood by him when things got heated.

CHORUS:
You let her go, you let her leave,
now you realize she's all you need.
But now she's gone, and she's moved on,
and you're wondering what went wrong.

You thought your feelings changed,
you dished her all the blame,
you stole her dreams,crushed her soul,
never believing she wouldn't be yours to hold.

CHORUS

yeah now she's gone and she's moved on,
guess you should have held on to a love so strong.
she's gone and never coming back,
you've got everything, she's the one thing you lack.
should have noticed when those blue eyes filled with tears
that her heart couldn't hold on for another year.

You said you wanted her gone,
but she still held on.
Too bad you didn't realize what you had,
until she was gone.
