You ask me these questions
But I have no answer
Do you even expect one?
Well, prepare for you are about to receive one
You ask me these questions
But I wish not to answer
For answers bring change where change is not wanted
Well, prepare for change is on its way
You ask me these questions
And I answer as best I can
But it is not the answer that matters, but the question
Well, prepare for it is my turn to ask
I have some questions and I want them answered
As the days go by and we reach closer to death
The pain of my love for you grows
Do you feel it too?
I have some questions and I want them answered
As the day goes by and we step closer to sleep
The stickiness of my love for you grows ever stickier
Do you feel it too?
I have some questions and I want them answered
As the days go by and we find ourselves closer to happiness
The joy of my love for you grows
Do you feel it too?
And one last thing
I wish for you to remember
Take this to heart
Oh so tender
‘Tis not the question that determines change
‘Tis the question
Choose carefully
And live happily with your decision
