Perfect actress,
Hollywood's star,
The show must go on,
No time for petty tears,
or moments of quiet reflection,
The show must go on.
Camera's round every secluded corner,
Don't bother searching,
No where to hide,
Can't let these walls of lies fall in,
Can't show what's going on inside,
No where to hide.
This lifestyle was created,
Made by those who wanted success,
Can't let them down now,
Must keep up the act,
Must always wear that perfect smile,
Can't let them down now.
Expectations; hopes,
Future; dreams,
Must not cry,
Unfair it may be,
No answers, never ask why,
Must not cry.
Perfect actress,
Hollywood's star,
The show must go on,
Never let them know the truth,
Wouldn't understand, not one,
The show will go on.

Caruso, the tenor, sang a song
about a clown who had problems
but had to finish the show...
