navigate the forest with an open ear
to dark to see, to dark to hear
muscle my way deeper, arms clearing the dense
i should have stuck to the track, if i had any sense
ferns and shrubs blanketed with dew
fresh cove inlet tranquils on through
silent streem, crisp and clear
galaxy fish and drinking deer
fluro moss illuminates and still as sky
a warm haven for the humble fire-fly
glistening minerals soil the forest floor
fertile fungi surround a waterfall
one last look you hear to deserve
before we leave
undiscovered
undisturbed:))
