I am an empty bottle.
I held things once before.
Long before my hopes had died,
And washed up on the shore.
I am an empty bottle.
There is a message here...
"Been a long time, boats have passed,
Nineteen-five, the year."
I am an empty bottle.
Don't know if I'll come home.
Shifting seas, changing tides,
Pounding fists of foam.
Please let this empty bottle,
Whomever finds it 'shore.
Stay me on the sea of sand,
So I may float once more.
