Rollercoaster

I don’t like this rollercoaster
keep me up or set me down
stop throwing me around
Life was never meant for this
so much hatred, so much lies
each scarred by broken ties
Who would want such strength
burnt solid, set in stone
with nothing else to own?
Yet I’m here in this state
broken fists, damaged heart
all thoughts torn apart
With a sense of wild motion
keeping me ill, near the storm
with no outlook of dawn
I don’t like this rollercoaster
no way off, never to end
with no means to defend.

This poem has quite a bit of emotion in it... and is making me feel a tad bit anxious myself. Your message was well brought over |
