My poem about the environment.
Playtime is over
Now the game begins
We've burnt Edens gardens,
corroded, denuded choked in smoke
We blindly panic, grasping manic.
Look around the hills are aflame
Rebounding, in echoes all our names,
The everlasting shame of the lost frontier
A flame scattered like ashes amoung distant ruins of civilisations
forever.
Playtime is over
Now the game begins
The invasion of a generation
As each child shall pay its fathers sins.
The earth is fevered with the diseases
of men, the idols lie cracked and broken.
The temple is stored and the money changed
The whip cracks on the slaves arranged.
The fevered planet does moan
Under beohemoths strength and its infernal
Engines groan.
Playtime is over
Now the game begins,
A fine balanced future
On the head of a pin.
