~Pale blue~

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Breath of spring birth of blossom
softness of the raindrops light.
Heart stirred when I think of you
and know none of this isn't really right.

People lose someone along the way,
and mourn their souls release.
And each of them would give anything
just to have them back.

Today I mourn the loss of us,
and each day I always miss you so.
Alive and well yet dead to each
living life on different coasts.

The pale of blue raises to meet the day
a cloudy sky all painted gray.
I wisp a tear I try to hide
because I look, but you do not reside.

It would be nice to just hear your voice.
I know even time wont fill the void.
My little brother now a man
with a mean ol wife and quite the clan.

Pale blue, fades in with the day.
The memories bitter-sweet wont fade away.
At times I still will mourn the loss of us
and wish away the tears and pain.

Others lose someone everyday
and each moment would give anything to have them back.
We both alive but dont reside, near each other in this life.
What a sad occasion this daily tends to be.

Days go by and years pass on
and a brother and sister no longer belong
and to me that just isn't right
I mourn the thoughts of us,
missing you whilst sitting in the rain pale blue.

This made me cry, shelb. Really hard. I thought of everyone I had lost, but most of all my father. Not to death, no he is alive and oblivious, merely an hour away instead of a lifetime. But I wish so hard sometimes that it would all disappear, the bad he did, the lies he told; I wish I could mold him into the father I need, but I keep grabbing ashes, and my tears won't hold them together.

This really shattered me, hon. You have a beautiful pen, and an even more beautiful soul. I just wish it didn't hurt so much. *hugs* Love you, dear. Always your friend,

stained with pale blue,

~Stephy.

my dearest sweet girl ... oh how I relate to this! I have lost someone as well,
but who is alive and living only minutes away. It is sad when the relationships
we have when we are young grow apart as we get older until we no longer
have any kind of closeness. :( When I visit those memories I am broken into
a million and one pieces.

This just broke my heart hun. You truly know how to manipulate the soul into
a flood of precious tears. Beautifully painful, my dear friend.

*huge hugs*

~ Breezy
