As autumn yields
Chill winds blow
On horizon, dark clouds
Deliver Winters, first snow
Silently, snowflakes fall
Mountains, awash in white
Snow covered fields
In a pale moonlight
Heralding, winters arrival
An icy cold breeze
Landscapes, forever changing
Around snow covered trees
Streams now stilled
Where waters, did flow
Glazed with ice
Like diamonds glow
Incandescent street lamps
Icy droplets cling
In winters frigid hand
Awaiting, the coming of Spring
