  Social

you never knew (stop drop and roll)

Topic: AngryPoetry

so you can't get enough (of what i tried to hide)

and you still insist

what you don't know

i'm so far above the ones i hated

the greedy, the stupid, the lost

now that i'm the victim

as true death should be....

so far above you

every word you say is useless

and now...

you know how....

incomplete

you are

so...

fall down flat

on your mistakes

point at me

laugh at me

make up lies

about me

blame me

for being me...

more mistakes

one after another

and another

and another

another and

another

yet i'm the one who falls

for all of your intrusive, arrogant mistakes

with nothing solid to hold onto...

you may think so

(can't stop you)

but i know better

and one day you'll see how

i only wanted to

thank you

for freeing me

(for finding me)

step by cultivated step

indirectly, ignorantly

the same way

that it has taken your soul

you can't hold power over someone

who knows more than you

so...burn

in jealousy and confusion

and leave me

the hell alone...
