I agree addictions can be but weed isn't bad. i guess it can be if u smoke to much of it he could be addicted to stuff much worse than weed.

Great job!! Addictions can rob the world of a wonderful person and a family of someone they love.

I feel your anger and hurt.

yeah i agree with joel....addictions are bad, but weed's not that bad. Personally I would know, and I have a lot of friends who either smoke weed or are pot heads and seriously if you can just get your friend to cut back on it everything will work out for him. Yeah he'll have the smokers lungs, but his brain cells will grow back.....and everything will be grand. so just do everything you can to help your friend cut down. I just think your really sort of lucky that he's not hooked on heroin or shrooms or sumthin. Good luck with everything. I can see how worried you are...i hope it works out for you.

This is yet another great write from you KnowWhat_Kind probably the best I’ve read so far addictions are really horrific but I think all drugs are bad too because ummmm...BRAIN CELLS ARE THE ONLY CELLS THAT CAN’T “GROW” BACK!

i live in England and here smoking pot isn't that bad, i rather be 'addicted' to that than many other things like alcohol, heroin or even cigarettes. I think the problem with your friend may be more complicated than just blaming the new drugs he's taking.
