Drifting Away To Nothing

Reflecting on memories from distance thoughts,
Who were we then? What has become of us now?
Time falls off an endless waterfall of nothing,
As life is fading farther away.
Like a grain of sand in the wind blows,
To distance plots on a dark horizon.
As life passes by, and memories are laid to sleep,
No one will know how much it really matters.
As another grain drops in the hourglass,
Another moment is lost to the current.
And as the heavy feeling pushs deeper,
The skies turn a darker shade of grey.
A life left to fade...
