Our friendship
Was the strongest
Our friendship
Was the best
You and I
We were gonna last a lifetime

Every laugh
Every inside joke
Was amazing
And I'm glad I shared them with you
Our times were great
Everyone thought were were besties
'Til the very end
I thought
We were together forever
Man, we had all those plans...

It's sad how one day
You can walk past your best friend
And not even know who they are
Just a stranger
That you once knew

We had a good run
But I see that this is the end
For you and I,
My friend
I will miss you
And our memories will never fade
You are so dear to my heart
But we both screwed up
I've given you my final try
This is my last goodbye
