The girl stays still, even as they play with her hair
Smoothing the ringlets out of her face
The smell of peroxide fills the room
As does the glow from her now blonde hair
She doesn’t bat an eyelid, even as they pluck her brows
Making a neat little arch
The wand goes straight to her upper lashes
Lengthening them with pitch black liquid
Her lips don’t move, even as the liner lines her lips
Making them more defined
The blusher is a deep read
A contrast to her death white skin
She looks like the lead
In a Broadway play
The story being Sleeping Beauty
The Only part fit for her
As they lift her up
Off from the table
She’s ready for her audience
To be the star of the show
But she’s not heading for Broadway
She’s the leading star of something else
As they lower her into her casket,
The church begins to fill with her grieving audience

When I started to read it reminded me of the film 'she's all that'
Then it turns sad at the end...
I like the style.
Well done (: |
