Like a Stalker

I turn the corner, see you
See your long, brown, beautiful hair
See your soft smile and lovely hazel eyes
See your delicious curves I know exactly who you are
I smirk and follow
You're walking with your friends
And I'm following the group
Like a stalker.
Hood pulled up
Hat nearly covering my eyes
Hands shoved into jacket pockets
Head tilted down
Eyes staring up
The typical look for me
It only makes me seem more
Like a stalker.
I follow you to school
Smirking, eyes alight
Your friends disband and head to their classes
Leaving you alone; how foolish.
I start to approach you
Just like everyday
But you turn and head to class
And my hopes fall
This happens every morning
And I can never do anymore
I've tried to leave earlier
But you're not there
I've tried to catch up
But your friends intimidate me
I try to speak up
But my voice fails when I look at you
So I continue to follow you
Never to be seen
But perhaps one day you'll turn around
See me
Following you
Smirking, eyes alight
Like a stalker...
