slumbers' sweet child

I wait. . . to whither. . .
upon each shallow breath. . . eternity
glistens with insatiable demise.
oh, carnal sufferage. . .
bestows neglect, suspends nocturnal
amid crisp sheets of unsought care.
I weep. . . & wish
the glee from perishable eyes
so as to glimpse fragile treasures' find.
oh, sheltering comfort. . .
sublime. . . particles waft, clinging. . .
to the intricacy of lullably.
I wait. . . & wade
to slumbers' heightened height
of legend, of catalyst, dreamed-faced.
oh, sweet surrender. . .
a given grace, as this receding day
does leave itself, behind.
I want. . . & wake
only to quest. . . as destinys' child,
new dawn, arrives. . .

Your style of poetry at the same time it confuses me...but it also tantalizes me. I think your talking about insomnia not only from the topic but from what I read but I don't know if so I can relate with you on that.
Anyway I may not always understand it but I enjoyed reading the write it was great
hope to read more soon

elle, you always have a unique way of expressing the deepest
thoughts through words. Oh what a glorious grace when at last
sleep finds us and our slumber takes us into its comforting embrace.
I adore your word choices and I especially loved,
"amid crisp sheets of unsought care"
I am not exactly sure why, but somehow it moved me.
Love this!
~ Breezy
