I'm going to sneak out the trick door of the big, black box this world has trapped me in
Break free of the chains I've hung myself on
Swim against the pull of the water
Down, down, down
Until I am heading upward
Not toward the light above, but beyond it, through it
And this time
This time
My face will crash through the surface
Pass into that other world that I see only when my eyes are closed
My lungs will fill with air almost too pure, too perfect to breathe
All this just to float on the surface
Of the boundary I have to break
For eternity
