|
Petals spread broad with glistening glow and damp repose,
this flower blossoms with gentleness of touch.
Lain between a bridle of trees, it draws heat from inside it’s leaves.
Gently hidden neath a thicket of brush never far from eyes, nor distant lust.
This bud pulsing, beating with life- falls within a lovers strife.
