to the girl i love without doubt

Contributed by owkenny on Wednesday, 29th April 2009 @ 03:53:44 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

they say no man is an island
But I try to be her whole world
THere hasnt been anyone in her life like I am
And i havent met another worthy girl

No other woman can cause such a distraction
SHe tells me her quarrels without words
As i listen intently by her actions
and pretend to be perfect for her

I just wish she would see how good she is
How much respect and admiration i have
I tell her all the time but she doesnt believe it
My goal in life is to make her's a little less bad

Ive always had her back and she has mine
no matter who comes between us
through thick and thin all the time
i have given her all my trust

shes so beautiful when she smiles
but used to constant frown
we've put eachother through trials
and still we are down

While so many guys use love as a trick
I can say it and she knows its true
I use her love and covet it
and smile just knowing shes safe in her room

I said I love her god knows how many times
and got those words back once or twice
to make her feel special, i could use any typical words or line
or better yet, she can just look in my eyes

so much sadness in her tone kill my heart
To hear her say 'Im Happy' is my wildest dream
I will always love her no matter how far we part
i just wish she loved herself as much as she loved me

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
