Just Once In My Lifetime
Just once in my lifetime,
I wish the world could live in peace.
Just once in my lifetime,
I wish hatred would cease.
Just once in my lifetime,
I wish people would learn to love.
Just once in my lifetime,
I wish people would look to above.
Just once in my lifetime,
I wish time would stand still.
Just once in my lifetime,
I wish wounds would finally heal.

| excellent excellent excellent!... this poem says so much with so little... i feel the same way (ironically, i am working on a poem right now called "just a lifetime", along the same subject matter... ::smile::)... blessings... great flow of prose... |
