In that after death search
through my papers
no doubt you ‘ll be
involved in,

you might consider
taking some time out,
to read my poems,
draw your own conclusions.

You might be surprised.

Either way there’ll be
no hidden insurance policies
I forgot or never spoke about
mixed amongst them.

So that shouldn’t be the surprise
you should be looking for.
