Searches Revealed

Searches Revealed

I went searching for things I could never find
I researched everything starting within my own mind
Looking for clues that would help me with the past
As quick as I would find one; it was gone just as fast

I looked ahead to the future for answers to be known
Though I thoroughly peered, nothing would be shown
Finding myself surrounded by death and despair in the next part
It was disturbing to find at the point I was inside my own heart

How could such feelings completely encompass me?
When happiness and joy is what is there for the world to see?
My search has revealed things I wished I had never found
Perhaps the reason I am left all alone with no one around

To live this way is no life at all
My wish is that God today my name would call
Release me from this misery that eats from inside
To die a physical death would end the pain that I hide

To spend forever in the place known as Hell
Is the only way to break this unforgiving spell
I know God has not forsaken me during this time
Every choice I made was completely and freely mine

Searches should not be started if the truth you do not want to find
Maybe it is better to live with the false hopes in your mind
Death and despair hold powers greater than those most see
Don’t believe, take a look deep inside of me

Holy crap! This is absolutely heart wrenching! Damn. It takes a lot of courage
to look inside one's self and not only find something devastating, but admit it is
there by virtue of their own free will. This was written so well. I don't imagine there
are many who could not relate to this at one time or another. These moments of
clarity are some of the hardest we humans face, you know? Feel better ~

Damn fine writing.

Wow... I have tried doing the same on many occasions and never once have I gotten any clarity.... sometimes I don't like what I see within my soul..sometimes I do... I guess unlike you, I don't have the courage to look deep enough....
Great write, my friend..
Hugs
Jenni

If you die and go to hell than I would make it my duty to keep you company! This is an awesome write!
