A reason for tears

Topic: DarkPoetry

The sun comes down as the moon finally wakes,

Silently crying alone someones heart breaks,

Staring out of a window in the midst of the cold clear night,

Tears falling from her cheeks, holding in a strong blur at sight,

Her eyes full of tears as she reaches for a star,

Just finger width away, " Why does it feel so far?"

Weaker by the second, only to wish for one last word,

But only for one person, who she wished would have heard,

Eyes shut to see no more, tears fallen between each lash,

All her feelings and dreams, blowing away like fallen ash,

Holding onto the emotions, never seeing this nightmares end,

Nobody's home, no feelings, no one last friend,

Looking at the clock counting down the seconds to make her thought,

All the pain and suffering, all this lonely world had brought,

Words running through her mind, love? Hate? Pain? Sorrow?

Why live another day... if the same will happen tomorrow?

Thinking twice of it, slowing raising a gun to her head,

Hearts beating faster by the minute, with one single blow.. she was finally dead,

Falling to the ground, blood dripping down her face,

Remember an angel,

Who finally found her place...

very heart-grabbing. felt the emotion in every line, especially since i've been at a point in my life where i can relate to this. i feel like i can recognize every emotion you portray like it was once my best and worst friend. well done.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
