wind song

Contributed by Destiny on Wednesday, 26th March 2003 @ 02:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

windsong, screaming like a million tortured souls
singing with angelic voices
gilded
hidden by her outside face
but I can see the inside
I'm sure others do but say nothing
how can we live this way?
The windsong suling our lives,
We don't try to stop it.
Maybe we can't
but would it kill to try?
to try to make a difference
maybe we can help one person
one soul
change one life
but, no
we have to have recognition
have to have our names stamped on our "good doings"
bull*****
how niave
that kills what good was in it
how can we let this windsong go on?
all you do is turn your face away
you're another windsong
screaming another day

Great poem. It is a shame that it is too often true but not always. I have done things for people and there is no way they will ever know it was me who did it but I am jusy happy that I could do it and I don't need thanks.
