As I lay down late at night
I contemplate and get up to write,
Which way to turn left or right,
Either way I turn will lead to the night
The shadows have shrunk away from sight
Lost in the shadowless realm of the night
It’s strange that they only come out when it’s light
A storm is brewing trouble and strife is stewing
The day is renewing the blossom trees are blooming
Spring is here summer is near, the time is right
The times tonight! Time to write!

Love it!
It is how a real poet is. We write at any time.
Well done. |
