Do you believe in love at first sight?
Or will you blow out the candle and turn out the light?
If I was to kiss you would you walk out on me?
Pretend I dont exist and want me to let you be?
Question upon question, escape me they wont.
Cheer me up, put my mind at ease, never will, nope they wont.
Forged in stone is a first kiss from long ago.
And the heart that feeds that mind cant cut its strings and let you go.
Wishing to live with you together yet we live apart.
Crimson torrents like a river flow from a breaking heart.
Do you believe in love after years of the same sight?
Or should I tell you "I Love You" and bid you a final goodnight?
Not a kiss, nor word, nor touch from my wingless angel.
As a mind stays anchored at port never again to set sail.
What are my odds for another chance no matter how faint?
I love you with all my heart and seek forgiveness for my mistakes for I know I am no saint.
Look deep into my eyes, the windows to my soul and mind.
There is only love, loyalty, devotion, and sincerity but please my love tell me what you find.
I walk around day and night wishing for a new beginning, a new start.
For you there is only one place that you belong and that is within my heart.
